Measure/Mix/Pour:Step1:MEASUREPourequalpartseachofresinandhardenerintoseparateclean,unwaxeddisposablepaperorplasticcupsortubs.MixMUSTbeaone-to-oneratio(byvolume),meaningequalpartsresinandhardener.Ifpossible,useacalibratedcontainer.

NOTE:Iftemperatureisabove70°F,workingtimedecreases,lowertemperaturesincreaseworkingtime.Step3:PourPourGlazeCoatIMMEDIATELYontothecenterofthesurfacetobecovered.Donotallowitto“sit“.Youhaveabout15-20minutesworkingtimebeforeproductbeginstoharden.Spreadthemixtureovertheareawithaplasticspreader,plasticsqueegee,notchedtrowelorbrush.Ifcoatingalargesurfacesuchastables,bartops,etc.,anotchedsqueegeeortrowelworkswell.Pourmixtureonsurfaceandspreadevenlyusingacombingactioninonedirectionoverentiresurface.Donotpersistinre-spreadingthemixtureasitsetsup,otherwiseitwillnotself-levelduringthecuringaction.Donotpourmorethan1/8”thickinanapplication.Mixonlyasmuchasyoucanpourandspreadatonetime.

Step4:SurfaceBubblesAtinitialpour,airbubblescreatedduringthemixingprocesswillusuallyrisetothesurfacebythemselvesanddisappear.However,becauseGlazeCoatisverythick,itisusuallynecessarytohelpthisprocessalongimmediatelyafterpouringandspreading.SurfacebubblesMUSTberemovedwhensurfaceisstillwet,notoncesurfacebeginsthecuringprocessorelsebubbleswillturnintodimplesoncefullycured.Blowgentlyonthesurfacetoforcebubblesupandaway.Forlargerareas,useasmall,handheldpropanetorch.Keepflame6to8inchesabovesurface.MovetorchoverfreshlypouredGlazeCoatseveraltimesuntilsurfaceisbubblefree.Besuretouseawavingactionsothesurfaceisonlyslightlywarmed,allowingremainingairbubblestodisappear.Donotholdflameinonearea.

Step5:CuringToachievebestresults,applyattemperaturesbetween70and80°F.BothGlazeCoatandtheitemtobecoatedshouldbeapproximatelythesametemperature.NOTE:Thesecuringtimesaretobeusedasguidelinesonly.Warmertemperatureswillyieldfastercuretimes.
