• Team mechanic is way how the team function with this specific group of persons

• It looks differently in full male or female team, or mixed

• Leadership is established differently and non-verbal communication in team is different

• Mixed is a good way to go, but leader must be “out-side” role

• Forget flat or equal class in any type of team, but also everybody must have their safe position, role

• Organizational conflict, or workplace conflict, is a state of discord caused by the actual or perceived opposition of needs, values and interests between people working together. Conflict takes many forms in organizations. There is the inevitable clash between formal authority and power and those individuals and groups affected. There are disputes over how revenues should be divided, how the work should be done, and how long and hard people should work. There are jurisdictional disagreements among individuals, departments, and between unions and management. There are subtler forms of conflict involving rivalries, jealousies, personality clashes, role definitions, and struggles for power and favor. There is also conflict within individuals – between competing needs and demands – to which individuals respond in different ways.

• Office romances can be a cause of workplace conflict. 96 percent of human resource professionals and 80 percent of executives said workplace romances are dangerous because they can lead to conflict within the organization

• A personal conflict involves a conflict between two people, most often from a mutual dislike or personality clash.

• Responsibility is on team leader

• In project environments there is only one leader, Project manager

• As he only by role see “whole” picture

• See things more far then scope, budget, time….like stakeholders, risks etc…

• And Project manager is responsible to communicate his position to team, as a outside role

• We have clear voice and directions

• “Talk the talk, walk the walk”

• We have a stand!!!

• When task is done we say thank you.

• As we expect loyalty from the team we nourish and give loyalty to team back

• …and persons will lie to us, fact

• How does person behave when they lie?

• They speak differently

• Persons when they speak use “shortcuts”

• They use context a lot

• When they lie, they do not use shortcuts (they give full descriptions)

• Never use context in verbal communication

• They act “boxy”, or “fixed”

• They have strong focus (they do not want to slip ;) )

• As team members follow the leader they will also exclude team member
