T-ShirtCompetitionOverviewTheT-ShirtCompetitionallowscompetingteamstodemonstratetheirartisticability,creativity,andcommunicationofgraphicdesign.ObjectiveTheT-shirtshouldincorporatethethemeofthe2016ASCESoutheastStudentConference,ResilientbyDesign:OvercomingtheUnexpected.EligibilityEachuniversityisabletoenterone(1)T-shirtinthecompetition.ThereisnolimittothenumberofstudentsthatareallowedtobeinvolvedinthedesignoftheT-shirt.Eachcompetingteammusthaveacaptainandapresenter.Boththecaptainandthepresenteraretobeundergraduatestudents.LogisticsEachteamistopresentaT-shirtalongwithadescriptionofthedesigntoapanelofthree(3)judges.EachT-shirtwillbedisplayedonthedayofthecompetition.ThedescriptionofthedesignistobeincludedwhensubmittingtheT-shirtandmustnotexceed500words.EachdescriptionshouldclearlystatethenameofthecompetinguniversityaswellasthenamesofthestudentswhocontributedtotheT-shirtdesign.Thenameoftheuniversityandlistofparticipatingstudentswillnotbecountedtowardsthemaximumwordcount.Execution

• TheT-shirtmaybeanysizeorstyle.• TheT-shirtmustbescreen-printed.• Thecompetinguniversity’snamemustbeevidentinthedesignoftheT-shirt.

JudgingEachteamwillpresentitsT-shirtdesigntoapanelofthree(3)judges.TheT-shirtswillberankedbasedonthefollowingcriteria:

DisqualificationsTeamsmaybedisqualifiedatthejudges’discretioniffoundtobeinviolationoftheregulationsstatedabove.
