We will use an immersion exercise for understanding needs to stimulate

discussion of different needs/problems you can address in your projects.

LIVING IN SUBSISTENCE –UNDERSTANDING NEEDS

We will show you a series of slides for about 10 seconds each

During each slide please jot down your reactions as follows

Write down the slide number that is at the lower right corner

Please focus on unique needs and usage situations

Please jot down any responses that come to mind as you view each slide.

They may be concrete observations or deeper thoughts.
