The presentation illustrates the basic principles for declaring (construction-) product characteristics within the European system of regulations and standards. Within the near future we may expect that also environmental product characteristics will become mandatory to be declared by the manufacturer of a construction product. The presentation explains how mandated product characteristics are linked to product standards and methodology standards for measuring (environmental) indicators. ESC explains.
