NVR5000 series has two models:

NVR5316A1: Support up to 64 channels

NVR5316E1: Support up to 32 channels

NVR5316E1 and NVR5316A1 have the same capacity. So the retention day capabilities are the same.

Refer to the table below for maximum retention day capabilities for different channel configurations.

NVR5000 Retention Days

There are 4 major deployment architectures:

Single NVR: for a less-than 64-channel project.

Single NVR with remote management: for a less-than 64-channel

project which requires remote management.

Multiple NVR with centralized management: for a more-than 64-

channel project which requires remote central management.

Multiple NVR with centralized management and TV wall: for a

more-than 64-channel project which requires remote central

management and the TV wall function.

* Multiple NVR without centralized management is the same as Single NVR deployment.

A single server can support up to 64 channels. Users can monitor and manage with local monitors.

devices (web client, VMS client, mobile client).
