due to changes in results of operations.
artra is extending support to clinics for the purpose of increasing revenue from non-insured procedures. Increasing this revenue
will reduce the clinics’ reliance on insurance payments. artra started selling equipment used for procedures that are not
covered by insurance in 2015 and the sale of this equipment has remained strong in the first half of 2016. The brisk sales of this
equipment are the main reason for these forecast revisions.

(1) artra and Mitsufuji will jointly develop apparel and electronic devices people can use to collect information about their physical
condition in about three years.
(2) Wearable IoT products and other jointly developed products will be sold by artra at nationally certified acupuncture,
moxibustion and Judo therapy clinics and to providers of nursing care services. Through these sales activities, artra provides
new products and services to patients and users.
(3) artra will identify the needs of these clinics and nursing care companies and provide this information to Mitsufuji. The aim is to
introduce products and services for innovation at these clinics and the nursing care sector. Two examples of such products are
apparel for collecting information about the wearer’s physical condition and wearable IoT products with electronic devices for
collecting this information.
People who use nationally certified acupuncture, moxibustion and Judo therapy clinics can check any changes in their bodies
before and after treatments by looking at the wearable IoT products or other items created by this business alliance. In addition,
people using nursing care to regain certain physical capabilities can use input from these products to monitor their progress.
(4) Jointly developed products can help extend the years of good health people can enjoy by using big data about the physical
condition for preventive measures.
(1) artra will purchase 282,486 shares of Mitsufuji common stock, which is 19.40% of all shares issued, at a cost of ¥200 million.
(2) artra will receive at no cost 91,000 stock options with the right to purchase one share of Mitsufuji stock each.
artra can exercise these options if Mitsufuji issues new stock by using a third-party allotment. However, the exercise of
options cannot raise artra’s ownership to 20.00% or higher.
(3) The representative director of artra will be elected as an outside director of Mitsufuji by no later than the end of May 2017.

UNI
Business Alliance with UNI
artra has established a business alliance with UNI K.K., a company involved with creating the IoE (Internet of Everything).
The plan is to add UNI’s oVo (Overware Vertex Object) technology, which includes blockchain, to artra’s A-COMS (Artra
Cloud Operation Management System) clinic support system and Honey-Style word-of-mouth marketing/appointment
system using smartphones and other wireless devices. This will transform information about clinics and patients into
highly effective big data. Extensively using this data in a highly secure environment is expected to create new forms of
value.
UNI’s oVo interface technology is capable of displaying and maximizing information that is needed when it is needed in
a format that is very easy to understand. By using A-COMS and Honey-Style, this technology can be used to offer greater
convenience to everyone who is involved with nationally certified acupuncture, moxibustion and Judo therapy clinics.

Financial Technology by Combining artra and UNI Resources
A-COMS does more than keep electronic records of healthcare procedures and prepare applications for insurance
payments. This service also handles incoming and outgoing payments of clinics, confirms the receipt of payments for
insured procedures, and oversees the repayment of loans extended for insurance payment receivables.
With UNI, A-COMS will also be capable of financial technology, making this system even more secure and useful.
With UNI, Honey-Style will become even better by providing information that members need in daily life the most and
allowing a smartphone to be used for processing all payments.
UNI
artra purchased 9.6% of UNI stock in December 2015 at a cost of ¥52 million.
In March 2016, artra’s representative director became a UNI outside director.
