Antonio Brandimarte is a contemporary emerging artist originally from Italy, has recently graduated from Florence Academy of Fine Arts.

In his paintings he has travelled as in a reverse Grand Tour with London as the destination of a contemporary exploration.

Planes and ships from the past takes the viewer on a journey across Italian and English architectures. The exploration of maps and geography is for Antonio a way to reflect on the theme of borders and bridges between countries and people.

He was one of the three artists selected to spend October 2017 in London within Art Apartment’s Art Residency “London is open”.
