• Story: narrative text designed to interest, amuse or instruct the reader or hearer.

• Character: any person, animal, or figure represented in the story.

• Main character(s): the most important character(s) in the story.

• Settings: the time and place in which the story occurs.

GROUP WORK• The groups are composed by four or five students. • Every group work on a different story. • The students have to:Read and colour the pictures.Speak about the characters and the settings in the

stories. Complete the story map.Write their own story based on the original ones. (only

changing the characters).Tell the new story to the class. Look the vocabulary words up in the dictionary and

explain them to the class.
