STAR TIMESNews from Star Distributors, New England Wine & Spirits, A. Gallo & Company and Thames River Recycling
DECEMBER 2012
In December, Two Roads Brewery, based in Stratford,
selected Star to be one of its Connecticut distributors. Founder Brad Hittle said, “We just appointed Star, Rogo and F&F and couldn’t be more pleased with their capabilities and more importantly their enthusiasm for our brands.”
Two Roads completely revitalized a 100-year-old brick building, formerly the U.S. Baird Factory. Members of Star’s and A.Gallo’s sales teams visited Two Roads last month and got a first hand look at the brewery operations and tasting room.
Two Roads in-house brands include four main styles – Road-2-Ruin Double IPA, Ol’ Factory Pils, Honeyspot Road White IPA and Worker’s Comp Saison – as well as specialties
and seasonals. The names of the beers and the packaging are connected to either the building or the company’s mantra of taking “the road less traveled.”
