Characters Plot Races Other Star Treks Movies

Captain Kirk Spock Uhura Sulu Chekov Dr McCoy Scotty Nurse Chapel

His name is James Tiberius Kirk. Dr McCoy calls him Jim. In almost every episode he kisses a girl. He’s played by William Shatner He’s Captain of the Enterprise At the beginning of every episode, you hear him

say: Space, the final frontier. These are the voyages of the star ship Enterprise. Its 5-year mission: to explore strange new worlds, to seek out new life and new civilizations, to boldly go where no man has gone before

William Shatner has also been in The Wild and National Lampoon’s Loaded Weapon.

Spock is played by Leonard Nimoy in the Original Series and Zachary Quinto in the new film.

Spock is half Vulcan and half human. Leonard Nimoy is now (2011) 80years old. Spock was the Science Officer and would be

captain, but he didn’t want to have his own ship. Spock’s my first favourite character. Spock was in 79 episodes of Star Trek: The Original

Series. Spock’s famous for saying things like “You must

think logically about this,” “Live long and prosper,” and “Don’t let your emotions control you.”

Uhura’s played by Nichelle Nichols who is now 79 years old.

Uhura is the Communications officer. In the 2009 movie she’s played by

Zoe Saldana. Uhura is African-American and

speaks Swahili.

Sulu’s played by George Takei who is 74.

George Takei has recently been in lots of kids shows like Suite life on deck, Adventure Time and Fish Hooks.

Sulu was born in San Francisco.

Chekov was played by Walter Koenig

Chekov is Russian

Bones was Dr McCoy’s nickname. He’s played by DeForest Kelly who’s dead. He’s famous for saying: (To Spock) “Are you out of your Vulcan

mind?” “I’m a doctor, not a psychiatrist.” “I’m a doctor, not an escalator.” “I’m a doctor, not an engineer.” “I’m a doctor, not a coal miner.” “I’m a doctor, not a mechanic.”

Scotty is Scottish. He’s played by James Doohan. James died at the age of 85 in July

2005. Scotty was the engineer.

Kirk is Captain of the Starship Enterprise where him and his crew explore new places and have new adventures in the year 23rd century.

My favourite episodes are: I, Mudd (The one where Scotty gets drunk)

Romulans are always at war with the Federation.

They live in Romulas and Remus.

They’re related to Vulcans

In Star Trek: The First Contact (a next generation movie) Captain Picard (played by Patrick Stuart who is Professor X in X-Men) becomes a Borg.

They are cybernetic organisms.

The picture above is Worf who’s a Klingon.

Some people who have no lives translated Shakespeare, the Bible and many other things into Klingon.

In addition, according to Guinness World Records, Klingon is the most popular fictional language by number of speakers.

Everyone knows the Vulcan hand symbol.Vulcans don’t feel emotion and think logically.Vulcans are typically depicted as stronger, faster, and longer-lived than humans. Vulcans have funny eyebrows and pointy ears.Vulcans can do things called ‘The Vulcan paralysers’ which hurts/knocks out people. They can also do lots of other clever things.

Orians are green.

Andorians are blue with antennae. They’re members of the Federation. They have blue blood. They’ve got white hair.

Star Trek: The Original Series Star Trek: Next Generation Star Trek: Voyager Star Trek: Enterprise Star Trek: Deep Space Nine

Captain Picard played by Patrick Stewart.

Worf who’s a Klingon. Data is a robot so feels no emotion. William Riker & Deanna Troi (dating) Beverly Crusher Wesley Crusher (Beverly’s son)

The first 6 are Original Series movies, the next 4 are next generation and the last one is based in an alternate earlier universe of the Original Series.

Key White – I’ve seen Blue – I haven’t seen

Star Trek: The Motion Picture Star Trek II: The Wrath of Kahn Star Trek III: The Search for Spock Star Trek IIII: The Voyage Home Star Trek V: The Final Frontier Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country Star Trek VII: Generations Star Trek VIII: The First Contact Star Trek IX: Insurrection Star Trek X: Nemesis Star Trek XI
