• New treaties grant people with disabilities full equality.

• People with disabilities would never have these rights back in the 1960s.

• Shows that disabled people need to be treated in the same everyone else is treated. Also the reason why they are created.

• Similar to the previous news article, students with learning difficulties have the right to get help with their studies. • Shows that people with learning difficulties should

be able to have equal opportunities.• In the mid-1900s people with learning difficulties

did not get any help with education

• Not all of the representations of disabled people have changed since the mid 1900s.

• I think that that the reason why the representation hasn’t changed is because it shows that even with all the new laws and treaties, people with disabilities are still portrayed and treated in a negative way.
