Dear Parents, Guardians and Friends,
In a few days we will wind-up the School Year 2014 -2015.
The month of May is full of celebrations: May Crowning, First Holy
Communion, the 6th Grade Graduation and the Last day of School.
The Summer School Program will be led by Mrs. Sara Johnson, our
Grade 4 Teacher. Openings are still available. The last page of the
newsletter has the application to use!
South Dakota Immunization Update-: South Dakota Codified
Law 13-28-7.1 states that all Students must have up-to-date
immunization records. A religious exemption no longer exists. For
St. Lawrence School this means that MMR and Tetanus
inoculation’s must be given to all students. The only exception is
made for allergic reaction to the vaccine and is documented for
each student by a physician.
Immunizations are intended for the protection of all our students.
Know that one confirmed case of Measles has a potential for great
damage in the school community. If you have questions, please
contact – The South Dakota Department of Health, Immunization
Program, at 1-800-592-1861.

Under the direction of Mrs. Susan Karels, Music Director at the Milbank School District, the 5th Grade Student Band Group performed their favorite pieces!
In addition, the entire group surprised the audience by marching in line to a rousing rendition of “Hot – Cross -Buns!”
