Relaonships come with a price tag. We must be willing to
entrust ourselves to another, to let go of our autonomy and die
to our independence. It is in dying to our independence that we
find interdependence with others.

WE WELCOME INTO OUR PARISH FAMILY
THROUGH THE SACRAMENT OF BAPTISM:
Olivia Marie Davis daughter of Christopher & Katlynn Davis
May the grace of God she received at her rebirth remain with her always and may she grow in the love and friendship of our
loving Father.
In just a few short weeks, our parish has raised $23,005.00 for the 2018 Archbishop’s Annual Appeal.
The Archbishop’s Annual Appeal supports many important ministries and programs. Gifts are allocated
towards religious education programs, youth ministries, local charities, the education of our seminarians, our retired clergy, our Catholic schools, and the many ministries provided by the Archdiocese.
If you have not made a gift, please prayerfully consider making a pledge or one-time gift. Join us, your parish community, and Our Faith, Our Future, by sharing your blessings.
It is customary and fitting to remember loved ones who have died with memorial donations to a favorite cause or charity. In this way, the memory of the deceased is honored and a good work, either civic or religious, is perpetuated. There are numerous charities that have been traditionally designated for such purpose. At times, we are also offered donations to these funds to honor particular individuals at special times of the year or to commemorate an event in their lives.
Memorial donations to the Remembrance Fund are restricted to the betterment and furtherance of our worship and our place of worship - the Church, as the needs present itself, or as determined by the Pastor.
We are grateful to the following who have donated to St. Gabriel
Remembrance Fund:
In Remembrance of Victoria Noga
Joseph & Susan Hannigan
Raymond & Michele Graczyk

Each year Archbishop Blair awards an Archdiocesan Medal of Appreciation to someone from the parish who has exercised faithful service throughout a period of years. The 2018 Saint Joseph Archdiocesan Medal of Appreciation will be awarded to Mrs.
Gail Meakin this Sunday, March 18, 2018 at the Cathedral of Saint Joseph in Hartford at 3pm. Gail, a lifelong resident of Windsor, has served the parish in a myriad of ways throughout the decades. She sang in the choir and volunteered in the parish office. She served as a religious education teacher and as a member of the Parish Council. Gail currently continues to give back to the parish through her membership with the rosary makers, prayer shawl and social action. Please congratulate Gail on this auspicious achievement! Sincerely Yours in Christ, Fr. John P. Melnick
