SPRING MERITS 2020 TUESDAY 17TH MARCH – HANDWRITING AND PRESENTATION
SNOWLEOPARDS
BEA has worked hard on her handwriting. Well done!
THOMAS works hard on his handwriting. His presentation has
improved.

JAMES works hard in making improvements with his handwriting. Well

MARTHA consistently displays excellent presentation in every subject

BEN has improved on his handwriting a great deal in the past few
weeks. Keep up the good work.
MOLLY produces beautiful handwriting and presentation everyday.

ALFIE has made super improvement in writing neatly.
EVA has made a lovely improvement with her neater handwriting.
LIONS
CASSIE consistently sets herself high expectation to maintain a high
level of presentation.
ETHAN challenges himself to improve his neatness and therefore makes
excellent progress.
WEDNESDAY 11th MARCH – RESILIENCE
SNOW LEOPARDS
LYAH has demonstrated great resilience in her Science lesson. She
refused to give up when her ‘lollipop stick house’ collapsed.
THOMAS has shown resilience in Science by continuing to build a stick
house despite it falling apart.
TIGERS
ROBERT shows excellent resilience in problem solving and challenge
questions.
COUGARS
FALLON persevered with her art and DT and tried to improve.
MOLLY always tries her hardest in everything she loves.
OCELOTS
FREYA shows great resilience in class as she gets on with her work even
when it is hard.
JAGUARS
JAMES is beginning to show resilience in his ability to problem solve.
OSCAR demonstrates his resilience in consolidating his ability to
problem solve.
LIONS
CHRISTINA has shown resilience on several occasions. She is willing to
challenge herself.
HARRY is willing to push himself and step outside his comfort zone.

THURSDAY 6th FEBRUARY – PERFORMING ARTS
COUGARS
NOAH performed brilliantly in the Alrewas production of
‘Camelot! - the Panto’.
SONYA for your performance in the Alrewas production of
‘Camelot! - the Panto’ and each day in class.
OCELOTS
AMELINE’s performance in Young Voices 2020 was great. She is
also one of very few children who attended all our school’s
choir Friday lunchtime rehearsals. Excellent!
LIZZIE performed superbly in the Young Voices 2020 concert
and is one of very few people who attended all our school
Friday lunchtime rehearsals. Well done!
JAGUARS
ASHLEIGH is very enthusiastic in our Drama sessions. She fully
participated when we acted out ‘Boy’ by Roald Dahl and various
playscripts.
ISABELLE is enthusiastic and has some great characterisations.
Well done Isabelle and keep up your efforts.
THURSDAY 30th JANUARY – FREE CHOICE

HETTY is a pleasure to have in class. She is always well-
mannered and works very hard.
STEVEN tries his best and is polite.

DARCIE’s confidence has improved in mathematics enabling her
to make great progress this half term.
MARTHA has improved her focus and her writing has been
excellent during our lessons based on poetry.
COUGARS
RILEY displays a much-improved attitude towards school.
THEO consistently does the right thing and is a fantastic role
model.

DOMINIC has made a huge improvement in his writing.

MEGAN’s dedication to improving her writing is clear for all to

THURSDAY 23rd JANUARY – INTERESTS OUTSIDE SCHOOL
SNOWLEOPARDS
ALBIE is a valued member of Beavers. He really enjoys going
and works hard when her is there.
ALEX has joined the after-school archery club and is very good
at the sport.
TIGERS
MARTHA always expresses her love of art and describes the
activities she does at home.
SETH excels at sports outside school and is keen to show off the
football skills he learns at Burton Albion.
COUGARS
AURELIE has a keen interest in girls’ football.
JOSEPH is interested in dance and enjoys performing.
OCELOTS
DAISY has a great interest in golf.
EMILY always learns new things outside of school.

BETHAN and DAISY have worked hard, and it has been great
having you both involved with Alrewas Drama Society’s
rehearsals for the pantomime. Well done!

channel.
