the Nanyang Technopreneurship Center,
focuses on the fundamentals and
challenges of new ventures. Learn about

CHINESE LANGUAGE &
CULTURAL STUDIES
This 2-week programme aims to equip you
with basic Chinese language skills, and
introduce you to China’s 5,000-year-old
history and culture. The programme is
conducted in collaboration with the NTU
Confucius Institute.
• Get an overview of the Chinese
language in just 14 days; from the basic
Chinese phonetic system to basic
conversational, reading and writing skills
• Learn up to 200 Chinese characters, 40
grammatical points and 300
commonly-used sentences
• Experience cultural tours to the Asian
Civilisations Museum, the Sun Yat Sen
Memorial Hall and the Chinese Pioneers
Museum
• Learn about Chinese culture through
Chinese calligraphy, traditional
delicacies and the various festivals
