PROJECT BACKGROUND
• Finding IT related hardware or support off campus proved troublesome, even for teachers
• Our goal was to create an online website for students at SAIT to utilize when they were in the need of IT assistance.
HOW IT WORKS
• Once an account is created, navigating through speepler.ca is simple.
• You can take advantage of our “Products” page to find an assortment of cables, or fill out a repair form
• You can also visit our forums, or obtain our contact information under “Contact”
HOW IT WORKS cont.
• Your cart for items is accessible through the red cart button, and logging out through the red power button
• Livechat is in the bottom right for immediate help
• Please visit our user manual for more details
ACCOMPLISHMENTS
• Made a website that’s functional and visually appealing
• Made registration information secure
• Implemented live chat • Made it live on the
internet
HOW WE OVERCAME THEM
• We made sure our project scope was appropriate for two people to achieve over the course of thirteen weeks
• We researched A LOT• We got assistance from
classmates if needed
LESSONS LEARNED
• Time Management• Never be afraid to learn the
seemingly impossible• Don’t compare your
project’s complexity to others
• Believe in yourself and your project

• Give yourself enough time to work through all of the issues that may arise
CONCLUSION
Working on our capstone project has put our education in perspective.
We have used concepts that we previously learned, but have also learned new concepts that we’ve actively applied into this project.
