1. System Overview
The system provides street light monitoring and management, image monitoring and sensing data
transmission and other functions. Street light monitoring and management and sensing data collection
is the application of Zigbee technology to achieve multi-node low data transmission purposes.
Image data transmission is the application of WiFi technology. Figure 1-1 shows the system
architecture.
Each street light contains a single Light Control Unit (LCU). Data Collect Unit (DCU) attached to the
lamp pole. Remote Unit Gateway (RUG) is responsible for managing a group of Light Control Unit (LCU)
and Data Collect Unit (DCU). One Remote Unit Gateway (RUG) can manage up to 200 Data Collect
Units (DCU) and 50 Data Collect Units(DCU).
Street light with built-in camera and Wi-Fi module to perform image data transmission. Remote Unit
Gateway (RUG) and video data collection Wi-Fi module can be integrated into the Out Door Unit
(ODU).As shown in Figure 1-2, the streetlight management data, sensing data and image data are
connected to the Internet for back-end management platform applications. If the access point
connected to the Internet distance is too far, then uses Wi-Fi outdoor wireless base station solution for
the multi-point continuous relay platform with Mesh multipath self-healing network function.

2. Street Light monitoring and management system specifications
2.1 Management platform
2.1.1 Central Control Board
2.1.1.1 Map display interface
a. Provide Google Maps (or other local map system), display street lights
distribution points, quickly switch to a simple graphic interface.
b. Click "Street Light" to zoom in the map.
c. Street lights numbering display function.
d. Right click the Street Light, the window displays the basic information, warning
and maintenance history.
e. With different colors show the "Warning lights", "off-link street lights", "Street
Light in repair", and the "Normal operation" of the four street lights state.
f. A warning Street Light will indicate when the first uncorrected warning occurred.
g. According to road sections, the window displays the information of "street
number", "basic information", "switch status", and preset schedule.
h. Depending on the "whole road sections", "unilateral street lights" or "a single
street light"; for on, off, flashing and brightness adjustment.
i. Marquee display message function. With a simple graphical display interface.
2.1.1.2 A simple graphical display interface
a. Provide street maps, to display street light distribution point, quickly switch to
the google map interface. Use for when an external network interrupts occurred.
b. Click the road section, show the whole Street Lights of the road section.
c. Street lights numbering display function.
d. Right click the Street Light, the window displays the basic information, warning
and maintenance history.
e. With different colors show the "Warning lights", "off-link street lights", "Street
Light in repair", and the "Normal operation" of the four street lights state.
f. According to road sections, the window displays the information of "street
number", "basic information", "switch status", and preset schedule.
g. Depending on the "whole road sections", "unilateral street lights" or "a single
street light"; for on, off, flashing and brightness adjustment.
h. Click the street light, there will be able to connect to a single street light control
page and power data page button. Enter the page, it will automatically fill in the
control target, so that users can directly control the Street Light or read power
data.

2.1.2 Management functions
2.1.2.1 Add / delete / repair / search function for Street Light numbering, basic information
and location information.
2.1.2.2 According to the "whole road sections", "unilateral street lights" to set the on, off
and brightness period, the system automatically set the schedule according to the
period, adjust the street light state.
2.1.2.3 Images, videos, and file upload.
