NEW INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT TERMINAL & RUNWAY RENOVATION

• Indonesian Minister of Transportation has committed to develop Morotai airport becoming Morotai International airport and it will be ready by the year of 2019, so that the Airbus 320 with ±180 seats can land at Morotai island

• The 1,840 m2 of Morotai new airport terminal is expected to be finished before December 2018

• The runway’s width has been widened from 30 m to 45 m and will be strengthened with the Pavement Classification Number increased from 36 to 50
