• Brazil -NR 18 - Conditions and work environment in the construction industry – under revision – Still a DRAFT• Upcoming Changes:
• Added Req’s for ROPS / FOPS / TOPS – In accordance with risk analysis• Hyd. Excavator excluded from ROPS req’s (in line with ISO20474)
• CAB + A/C –Mandatory for:• Machines with mass Above 4500kg• Machines between 1500 kg and 4500kg if provided with Cab• Pavers / Cold Planers excluded
• Publication is expected to happen in the 4qtr 2015• Effective: 3 year after regulation publication (2018?)

• WBV – Whole Body Vibrations• Action level for daily exposure resultant acceleration of standardized exposure (“aren”) of 0.5
m/s2, or the value of the resultant vibration dose (VDVR) of 9.1 m/s1 75.• Limit value (Combined direction) 1.1 m/s2 and (EU Physical Agents Directive: Highest vibration direction limit = 1.15 m/s2
• Value of the dose resultant vibration (VDVR) 21.0 m/s1 75. • HAV-Hand-Arm Vibration
• Action Level of daily occupational exposure corresponds to a value resultant acceleration standardized exposure (“aren”) of 2.5 m/s2.
• The daily exposure limit: 5 m/s2 • Preliminary Assessment of Exposure – may consider manufacturers vibration

• Colombia- GPS Required– Prevent Illegal Mining• Decree 2261, establishing new rules to register and control the importation• Machine require some type of tracking device that enables the location of
the machine:– Must install a tracking device (GPS) before register– Must allow information exchange from the tracking system service provider
and the National Police.– Implementation has being delayed due to infrastructure needed (new date
