initial thoughts on contrasts on the wiki site

Lesson Implementation

Elluminate - › Students present their power

points to their partner class, while the other class takes notes and writes questions.

› Students are divided into small groups and selected to answer questions .

› Leave time at end of lesson for Question and Answer as part of a “Getting To Know You” effort.

Lesson Follow Up

Wiki – Students discuss the

lesson via the wiki site under designated topics.

Skype – Teachers discuss the

lesson and what could be a beneficial follow up format.

Discuss what did and did not work.

After the initial big group presentation, students and teachers can begin to think about the students meeting in smaller groups via Elluminate now that they know how the program works and can be used.

Smaller group lessons can be done as a form of follow up

Try and use one of these resources for your communication – unless necessary use in

place of email, set up bi-weekly meetings of teachers via Skype.

Immediately start a wiki for two partnership classrooms.

Think about delegating some of these responsibilities to students.

Start small!! Get one success before building more so that you can troubleshoot.

Work with each other. Know there will be difficulties and prepare

yourself for setbacks. Ask me .
