Forest management in Slovenia

The potential felling in forest managementplans 2001 – 2010 has been set at the level of:

• 61 % of the total increment• 15 % of the growing stock• = 4,1 mil. m3 (gross volume)

Forest management plans (FMP)

Produced for all forests (made by SFS foresters, budget paid):

• FMP on district level 2001-2010 (14)• FMP for forest mamagement units (240)• Plans for managing wildlife• Silvicultural plans
