How to Create a SlideShare

Tutorial

1. Create a Powerpoint and save it.

2. Write your transcript in the notes section below your slide.

3. Go to http://slideshare.net/ and click on Sign Up For a new account

4. Fill out the information on the screen and click Join Now

5. Find your friends OR click Skip This

6. Upload your Powerpoint File**Please note the file types accepted

7. Add an ipt287 tag and click Publish

8. Get to your SlideShare by clicking on My Slidespace in tab menu

Trouble-shooting tips

Sometimes it works better to try a single upload instead of a bulk upload. The upload tab is at the top of the screen.

Also, sometimes it helps to save the PowerPoint in a different format so that the conversion process is easier.
