What are the key changes?

Clearer, actively managed pathways for how people access services and how they are accessed:

• Universal Front Door

• First Response – contact point for anyone who has concern about a child. The Team will manage requests for help and decide who should take the next step.

• Integrated Family Support - for anyone assessed as needing early help by the First Response Team.

• Single Assessment Framework - to replace several existing assessments.

Remodelling social work services to include ‘Signs of Safety’

Integrated Disabled Children and Young Adults Service (0-25)

Improving the balance of placement provision for children in care

What is the Proactis Portal?

A web-based tendering/procurement system accessed via the Internet

Made up of a Supplier Portal and Buyer Portal.

Used by other buying organisations as well as Bristol City Council.

Procurement and commissioning arrangements over £15K are let through the Proactis Supplier Portal
