The CEREC Blocs and CEREC Blocs PC consist of a finely structured feldspar ceramic material, which is biocompatible and resembles natural tooth enamel in terms of its shading, strength and abrasion resistance. It is the ideal material for tissue-conserving, aesthetic chairside restorations.
The new inFire HTC speed high-temperature furnace speeds up the processing of frameworks and crown copings. The new high-speed sintering programs deliver time savings of up to 75 percent. This is the direct result of technologically enhanced heating elements, insulation materials and sintering trays. Thanks to its outstanding productivity, the inFire HTC speed is the ideal complement to the inLab system.
True beauty comes from within.

Technical details
inCoris TZI – translucent zirconium oxiden Highly translucent zirconium oxide for full crowns and
bridges with up to five unitsn Ideal for critical situations, e.g. where there is limited space
between the restoration and the antagonistn Resistant to chippingn Available in three block sizes und color FOn Available in 16 inCoris TZI Coloring Liquids for individual
shading of the restoration
inCoris ZI – zirconium oxide for high-strength bridge frameworksn High-performance ceramic material for finely designed
long-span frameworksn High translucency fulfils stringent aesthetic requirementsn Outstanding fracture strength and longevityn Excellent biocompatibilityn Easy to machine thanks to high sintered density and small
particle sizen Available in various sizes and in five different shades
Enhanced cost-effectiveness – inLab 3D Stack softwaren Several milling jobs can be placed within a single block
saving time and material costsn Partly used blocks can be deployed at a later daten inLab 3D Stack is suitable for reduced designs and frame-
works of all kinds – and for milling on inLab MC XL
The central production models are fabricated from acrylic resin in a
stereolithography SLA process. They are then pinned on model plates and
sent to the lab within a few working days.
The individual model segments complete with pin holes are accurately
milled in the inLab MC XL. Then the model is attached to the base plate. The Sirona inCoris ZI and inCoris AL materials are the ideal basis for the cost-effective fabrication of high precision ceramic restorations – e.g. finely designed copings, bridge frameworks and custom abutments. Excellent biocompatibility goes hand in hand with perfect aesthetics.
Optical digital impressions with Sirona Connect are an innovative, precise alternative to conventional dental impressions. The intraoral digital data are calculated to create a 3D model and sent directly via internet to a dental laboratory of choice. Two possibilities for manufacturing physical models offer the dental laboratory additional flexibility for restorations: centrally produced or in-house with a milling unit.
Central Model ProductionThe laboratory sends the 3D model data received from the dentist to Sirona’s central model production. Valuable working time which was previously used for cleaning the conventional impres-sion, pouring materials, capping, setting the pins, cutting the stone model and placement of model segments is thereby saved. The model is made out of an acrylic synthetic resin using an SLA stereolithography production process.
Your benefitsn More robust than a stone model: will not break when droppedn More abrasive resistant than a stone model: the prepped tooth
form will not be affected by the restoration being put-on or taken-off.
n Already segmented: every prepared stump is a separate segmentn Already pinned to the base plate: similar to existing model
processes
Models with the new inLab MC XLAn interesting alternative to centrally produced models are those which are milled in-house with the inLab MC XL milling unit. Dental laboratories are now able to control the entire digital process from the receipt of digital impressions and model milling to the CAD/CAM creation of the restoration. It is also possible to scan conventional elastomer impressions and create models from the data.
Your benefitsn Integrated digital workflow from impression to model and
restoration creationn Particularly well suited for the production of partial jaw
models for single tooth restorations or smaller bridges in the posterior region
n Maximum flexibility by processing digital impressions via in-house milling and complete control over the model production process

Veneering
Polish CEREC Blocs using flexible aluminium oxide (Al2O3) coated discs, polishing brushes and diamond paste. Ensure ample water cooling and apply only gentle pressure.
As an alternative to polishing, the restoration can be glazed and then atmospherically fired in order to create a high gloss finish. This process can be delegated to your assistant.
To achieve particularly aesthetic results you can characterize the CEREC Bloc restorations with the VITA SHADING PASTES.
CEREC Bloc restorations with thermal expansion coefficient 9.4 X 10–6/K can be veneered locally using an appropriate ceramic material. This enables you to achieve outstanding results particularly in the anterior region.
