The lower rate of attendance could be attributed to the economy and the gate fee costs that were a little bit on the higher side

Shows outcomes Land for vehicle parking was

allocated to JKUAT at the Nyeri showground outside the cafeteria area at no extra expense

Land was also allocated for demo plots at the Nairobi showground

Plans are underway to have demos in Nairobi plots next year show

Shows outcomes The Nyeri Show JKUAT stand needs

construction of a permanent building Presidential security expressed

concern over the uneven ground and tents making it difficult for the presidential party to move about

A semi-permanent structure is also needed for catering services

approved by the VC before next year show (verbal)

Nyeri – 1st in all 9 classes entered Nairobi – 1st in 2 classes and 2nd in 1 class

Block making Machine Will reduce the environmental hazard

of cutting trees. 1 group (100 disabled persons)

already trained on Eco block technology.

12 units sold out and 5 orders pending.

Shows & Exhibitions ImpactsHologram National registration bureau is interested in

using this technology to produce Identification Cards.

Shows & Exhibitions Impacts Voting machine The Electoral Commission of Kenya

was interested in using this technology to register voters and for voting purposes

Bamboo cottage machine Orders have been received from

United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO)
