Jackson Park Ministries exists to transform the lives of distressed low-income families and at-risk children located in our neighborhood, the greater Charlotte community and beyond.

The Shoes4Kids mission is to make a difference in the health and life of underserved and under privileged children by providing them with a new pair of athletic shoes.

Wow what a great day to see all of these children with new shoes and the excitement, some came up on Monday to the start of camp and they were showing us their new shoes and may I say with a great big smile.

Thanks again for bringing the team and your heart to see this through, anytime you are coming to Charlotte and you need some help just call.

Together, physical therapist, physical therapist assistants and physical therapy students are meeting the needs of children in desperate circumstances. S4K collected and distributed over 1250 pairs of new youth athletic shoes and socks to the children of Charlotte, NC.

I am thankful for all who made this effort so successful, particularly the American Physical Therapy Association, The North Carolina Chapter Physical Therapy Assoc. (APTA), DPT Program - Duke University, Durham, NC - , Kelsey Nix, DPT – Student (Duke Uni.), Pat Pande, PT (Free Your Feet,) New Balance Shoes and ALL the Shoe Crew Volunteers!
