When you are riding your bike, you do not need to stop at stop signs.

FALSE: Riding predictably is key in road safety. Obey all traffic regulations

Bike riders should ride at least 4 feet away from parked cars.

TRUE: Avoid weaving through parked cars and avoid the ‘door zone.’

The ‘door zone’ is when a bike rider rides along side your car, near the door.

FALSE: the ‘door zone’ is a dangerous area where it is possible to hit a bike rider while opening a car door. Look behind you before

opening your door!

If you are over 12 years old, you are not allowed to ride your bike on the sidewalks.

TRUE: It’s against the law, dangerous and you could get a ticket!
