SEWHut COMMUNITY NEWSI am very excited about the new Anita Goodesign collections. The bee quilts were cute, cute, cute. Thank you Anne for the presentation you gave at BERNINA Club. For those who missed it, please call to see when Anne is in and have her show you. I think you will fall in love. I also wanted to say that I had a great time during both of our 780, 830, 880 workshops. It was so amazing to see the variety of designs that emerged from this class. And thanks to all of you that shared yours at BERNINA Club. By the way we had a lot of incredible sharing this month, keep up the great work! See you soon, Ingrid
Happy Easter!

BASIC SEWING 1, 2 3 and 4
Learn the basic funda-mentals of sewing by choosing from select projects such as pajama bottoms, pillows, zip-per pouches, tote bags, aprons and more. Lynne will explain how to select and read a pattern, pur-chase the proper fabric for your project, and how to prepare it before sew-ing. You will then lay out your fabric and cut it out. Then you will construct your project with differ-ent stitches on your sew-ing machine. Lynne will be giving each student in-dividualized help, as well as sharing basics with the whole class. If you do not own a ma-chine, do not run out and buy one, as we have ma-chines for you to try out in class, and we can help you choose which machine is best for you.The series is 4 weeks and the cost is $70. There is a waiting list and once we have a spot for you we will require a $35 deposit to hold your place. Call the shop to be put on the waiting list.

CLASSES CLUBS CAFES
This class, free with your SEWHut pur-chase of either a Bernina or Janome machine, will focus on which needles to use, the different sizes of threads, and combinations that work best. We will also go over proper cleaning and oiling of your machine and trouble shooting the most common problems that happen, and how you can solve them at home (because you know, they always happen on Sunday).
Needles, Threads & Maintenance
Put yourself in this picture: You feel like getting out your latest project, doing the final piecing so you can start on the quilting. You sit down at your machine and the phone rings. The dryer goes off. Then the UPS man is at your door. It’s lunch time. Sit down again only to have to go chase after the dog, wash the lunch dishes and answer the phone again. Next thing you know it’s dinner time and you haven’t sewn a stitch!Instead, come to LET’S QUILT and DINE where pizza is served. Expert help is available from design decisions, color choices, binding techniques, to whatever else you’re working on. And don’t forget your snacks and spill-proof cup! TAKE THE QUITTING OUT OF QUILTING!
