Locality-

• Sered is a city located in Trnava. It has an area of 30.454 km ² and lived here almost 18 000 people.

• Sered is rich in monuments, such as the Water Castle, now remains of the castle in the city park in which they found a

variety of historical artifacts. We have a big river-Váh.

Something about Sereď• The first written mention of the town "Zereth" can be found

in the list of Catholics in 1313.• Since 1845 there working factory, later became the company

for processing coffee .Bratislava moved here in 1950 production of sparkling wine Hubert.

• Church of Jan Krstiteľ in Sereď was builded in 1781.• Before there was a old church. This church was destroyed

after 3 fire in 1777.Esterházy decided to build a new church here.Traditional Sereď festival survived for today . June 24 is the traditional day for this festival in Sereď.
