9th edition of the international marine science and technology week • 13 > 17 October 2014, Le Quartz congress centre, Brest, France

Brest  is  organising  the  9th  edition  of  Sea  Tech  Week.  This  international  event  is  a  unique  occasion  which  attracts  more  than  1000  participants  and  covers  various  marine-­‐related  disciplines.  Deep  Ocean,  Energy  and  Resource,  Biotechnology,  Monitoring  and  Robotics,  Environment…    

Attend  the  conferences  and  workshops  (chose  among  17  events)   Exhibit  or  visit  the  trade  fair  (35  exhibitors)   Participate  in  the  B  to  B  meetings  

Registration  now  open!  

 

In   2014,   Sea   Tech   Week   will   focus   in   particular   on   deep   sea  challenges,  through  the  central  conference  Deep  Blue  Days.    

Current   challenges   in   the   exploitation   of   energy,   mineral   and  biological   resources   will   be   presented   and   discussed   by   covering   research   and   development,  technologies,   environmental   issues,   law,   economics,   governance   and   defence.   This   cross-­‐cutting  approach   will   help   to   create   new   interactions   between   professional   sectors   (academia,   industry,  governmental   organizations,   public   institutions…)   and   disciplines.   Highly   competent   international  speakers  will  attend  the  Conference.
