o Helps set expectations

o Not Required: We don’t do it

OBSERVATIONAL SCOUTINGoAnalyze matches

o Includes taking Qualitative and Quantitative notes

o Is used to generate Strength Weakness lists about teams

o Recommended: Two people for observational scouting

o Perceiving what in game challenge the team is best at

o Noticing communications within the drive team

oTaking notes on Google Sheets/Excel

o Drivers scout partners, drive coach scouts opponents

o Observe problems they solved + time taken

o Consists of noticing how effectively they solve issues

o Overcharged is releasing an app next year

o Use FTC Event Viewer to know your statistics

o Use the app’s data for generating your own list
