Are we having an impact?

Scientist in Residence Program

• The best thing I liked is the landfill (Kelly, Gr. 3, Weir)

• We could learn about biodiversity, different types of soil, liquid and gas, DNA, making bread, and butter (Jessica, Gr. 2, Sir Wilfred Laurier)

• The experiments we did were very creative and interesting. I had a lot of fun! (Natalie, Gr. 4, Queen Mary)

• The pond poke was so much FUN! (Faith, Gr. 2, Hastings)

• Having a professional scientist guide your learning really gave me the chance to ask my most tickling questions to a day to day researcher! The field study was intriguingly educational, yet it gave us a sense of fun because this program never felt like regular school (Steven, Gr. 7, Tecumseh).
