Welcomefrom BOHRSON MARKETING SERVICES The Keystone Klassic is 33 years in and what an honour it is for our company to take on a sale with so much history and distinction behind it. As our team toured around this summer in parts of Saskatchewan and every corner of Manitoba, we were impressed with the quality that was available and the commitment that these breeders had to selling their very best. Our goal with sales is always quality over quantity and Keystone Klassic has certainly taken that shape as the quality is impressive throughout.
The breeders have outdone themselves as the depth of quality in the breds and opens are deep on both the red and black side. When analyzing the pedigrees and services that are on offer, you’ll notice they possess leading genetics that can be invested in with confidence. These programs are strong on cow power and there have been many top end cattle marketed though this sale and this year is no exception. The red embryos and flush at the end of the catalogue compliment the strong offering as 2 of the most impressive donors are represented in those lots and ones to tie into for profitability.
We are excited about the Keystone Klassic and the opportunity to work alongside the Keystone Konnection Simmental Sale and host these 2 events together. The camaraderie in the barns will be awesome and most definitely will be a must attend event for the fall as it is sure to be enjoyable for all in attendance. As we welcome everyone to the Keystone Centre for this big event, we have the utmost confidence that you’ll be more than impressed with the cattle and hospitality equally. See you in Brandon on the first weekend in December for the Keystone Sales that represent some of the strongest Angus to sell in the province all year long.

When “Roughrider” became available for a short time in 2020 I jumped on it and got some semen. Roughrider sure did not disappoint when his babies started hitting the ground in January. 118J is very fresh fronted, with a great look. She is massive topped, deep sided and can travel like no other. Dutchess catches your eye at any angle, she will compete at the highest level or make a great junior project with her added docility. Dutchess has all the tools from showring to cow prospect that you could ever ask for. 118J won’t be hard to find sale day.

A well balanced daughter of the proven cow- maker Vision Unanimous, Jestress 2J is a big bodied female that is made to produce. Her dam is a standout daughter of the Soo-line Kodiak, who's progeny are beautifully uddered cows built for longevity and excel in production.

“WOW Factor” here ladies and gentlemen. Here is a calf that I have a very hard time letting go of. She is flat out awesome, long bodied, great extension through her front end with an awesome cow power head. 122J is one that is destined for greatness in the showring and future herd matron. This gals mother is an absolute never miss cow around here being a 7 year old cow has never given us a bull calf yet and all her heifer calves have gone out and simply worked. Just to tell you some of the consistency behind this young up coming star. 122J has one sister sold to our good friend in the UK and another excellent breeder in Birch River; Foster Angus.
An absolute tank of a female off our main herd sire Ramrod Captain Obvious 885F. Rosebud is a mirror image of her paternal grandmother 230Z. Very easy on the eyes to look at, extremely maternal, soft made, big hipped while standing on a flawless foot structure. 140J is the type of female that will lay down and produce herd bull quality bulls or females that will last a life time producing herd building blocks like herself.

With this being our first time consigning to the Keystone Klassic Sale, we wanted to bring one of our best! Ever Entense is backed by years of proven genetics like First Class, Everelda Entense 1137, Proven Queen and many more. She is stout, extra long, structerly sound from the ground up and wraps it all together in a very eye appealing package. Her young Windfall dam has hit it out of the park on her first two tries and will be entering our donor program this spring. 73J is a part of our show string this year, she is super quiet and kid broke! With Showdown in Manitoba next summer this one would make a fun heifer for a Jr memeber to show.
We wanted to find a really good walking bull in a breeders herd and buy into him big time, when we visited the Frey’s of Oxbow bull pens and saw the job that U2 Temptation did in not only the bull pen but the replacement heifer pen and then saw the bull himself we found that bull. We used 50 straws of semen and think we have close to 35 calves sired by Temptation here. The group of calves here have a very good look. He defiantly is a breeding piece. This Temptation female has a massive ribbed high body volume mother out of the famous Tibbie cow family Mountain View Farms made famous. The dam of 53A reached elite dam status in the CAA herd book.

The Pollyanna and Annie K names are synonymous with excellence in the Canadian Registry. The Young Dale Angus and Brooking Angus Ranch programs are programs which are synonymous with breeding excellence just the same. Pollyanna 104J is as beautiful and complete on the profile as anything we have raised to date. She is big bellied, up headed on the move, attentive on the halter and has a really strong ET mother by the very powerful PA Powertool. Few things need to be said when they look like this and have an extended pedigree which includes both Grand dams being donor cows in their respective programs.
First off, it is exciting to be moving ahead with a live sale. Our consignment this year is something we would not be offering but in life you are dealt a curveball once in awhile, and with that being said, we are bringing a pedigree and female with loads of potential. She is a Socialite heifer from the cow family that has certainly done great things for the Merit Cattle Co. Divergent has certainly met our expectations and is maturing into a true herd bull. After seeing his mother’s udder, who is a MAR Innovation daughter, we are genuinely thinking he will leave his mark. 9024 has an impressive set of feet and we look forward to his offspring as we continue to move ahead.

We couldn’t be more excited to be part of the newly combined Keystone Klassic and Connection sale. Historically both sales have consistently produced numerous high quality cattle selling through this very ring that have left their mark on both the Simmental and Angus Industries; I am confident and excited that this years offering will be much the same. With that being said, we decided to dig deep and offer up a high quality heifer calf that we think a lot of. Big topped, ample rib shape, and tonnes of hair best describes Zest. A female we really appreciate for her overall volume and dimension while remaining well balanced and complete. But the best part is her mother. 1001J’s mother was purchased from this very sale years back. While 1001J is 14Z’s only daughter, 14Z has been a dominate bull making factory. Sons have sold to Griffin Zalluski, Brody Slykhuis and Matt Goudie. 14z’s sons have always been the heavy weights of the bull pen with added neck extension and length of spine while standing on a large foot. 1001J’s sire Musgrave 316 Stunner has taken the industry by storm with sons and daughters bringing high demand and semen selling for $310/ dose out of the keystone sale last fall.
This is a heifer that has been easy to appreciate from day 1. She is out of Brooking Annie K 390, a cow that is as impressive maternally as any in the breed and the dam of the high selling Brooking Firebrand in 2017. That, combined with the top side of her pedigree, that is known for making exceptional show heifers that turn into productive cows, this heifer is sure to work in anyone's program. She is massive ribbed and high performing with a profile that is sure to catch your attention. She is extended through her front end with a long neck that comes high out of the top of her shoulder. She is sound on the move, and sets down on the soft pastern that you always look for in breeding cattle. This heifer offers maternal potential in an extremely sound and attractive phenotype.

I've been a long time buyer of the Keystone Klassic and finally decided that I better start selling some. I let the guys have their pick of my heifer calves and they found this little sweetheart. If you are looking for a female with natural thickness, femininity, and great disposition then don't look any further. This heifer would make an excellent Junior project and will look good on the end of a halter. She is halter broke and has been to a couple shows. Her mother is a moderate cow with a tight, clean udder and her sire is out of the Merit One-Iron bull that sold in the Stewart Cattle Company dispersal last winter. This heifer is going to be a great cow and good show heifer for someone.
NYK 15J is a deep bodied, easy keeping, docile heifer that has herd bull factory written all over her. Her pedigree is stacked with the very best we have to offer. Her dam is a direct daughter of SAV Resource and has been a tremendous producer in her young career. 15J’s granddam, N7’s Blackwood Lady 2T was named National Champion Black Angus Female at Canadian Western Agribition. Old 2T just weaned off her 13th natural born calf so you know longevity is built in. To sweeten the pot even more, 15J is the first daughter to sell off the $27,000 Belvin Gatsby 30G. His first set of progeny are outstanding, showcasing the thickness, docility, muscling, and performance that he possessed. Don’t miss out on a chance to take home your own Blackwood Lady.

This Top Shelf heifer calf came to us in dam from the good folks at Hollinger Land and Cattle, where her mom was high selling bred heifer at the 2020 Female Focus sale. This long spined calf has all the makings of a foundation cow, all of her parts are in the right place and comes with a kid friendly disposition as well, weaned off Oct. 17 at 735lbs no creep.
Here’s a Paintrock Trapper daughter out of one of my favourite cows. This heifers dam consistently throws quiet and correct calves. No big sales pitch, just a good heifer.

Gutzke Lady Lite 15J is a March born heifer that has lots of look and show appeal. Sired by Wiwa Creek Northern Light, this heifer is long bodied, level topped and clean with extra extension through her front end. Dam of heifer Brooking Lady 6137 produces progeny here at Gutzke Ranch that are continuously top prospects. Lady lite 15J is naturally quiet making her a good candidate for a youth to show but also a great cow in the making.

4 for 4. The 4 Firebrand females we are offering for purchase this year are the only 4 Firebrand daughters we have available. We thought that they were some of the strongest pedigrees and not a single one of them is a second tier female, thus, we have made every one of them available this year. This one was a struggle to let go of, not only because she is excellent but especially due to being bred to the elite sire from Montana Ranch, Square B Atlantis. Atlantis suffered an almost life threatening illness and was off the market till recently. Fortunately we were able to secure some semen the day before he was pulled off the market. This is a combination you will find nowhere else. Young Dale Grace 102Z is the Grand dam of 1H, the Grand dam of the $27,500, history maker from last year's Keystone Klassic Sale, Jaymarandy Grace 901G. 102Z will join our donor pen next year because she just doesn't miss - including the $10,500 Firebrand daughter, Jaymarandy Grace 101J, at the Rose/Jenna/Flirt event this summer. Now you stack the great Ceyla of Conanga, the $50,000 USD selection of the program, in the Connealy Angus Sale, and next the great and $10 Million in production SAV Blackcap May 4136 into the pedigree and the production potential is limitless. AI'd - May 4th, Due Feb.10/21 to Square B Atlantis. No exposure. Preg Checked July 2nd - safe
This big tanky heifer stems back to one of the original cow families on the farm. Bred to Grazer you can expect great things from this highly maternal mating. Bred March 30/21 to LD Grazer 7090 Exposed to HF Free Spirit 49H April 15 to May 31.

Here at 5B Farms we believe that consistency and uniformity is very important. That is why we brought these three paternal sisters bred to LD Grazer. Here is a heifer that we feel is a big time cow prospect! Very correct in her lines, extremely attractive fronted, long bodied with a super foot and leg under her. This female is extremely hard to part with. She gets out and moves with such elegance, always having that ‘look at me’ proud manner. The cow family behind this female have stood the absolute test of time consistently producing at the top end each and every year. Her mating to Ellingson Homestead for a January baby should be highly anticipated. Homestead sired a very high caliber calf crop for us in 2020 and the bulls in the spring 2021 Cow-Boys Bull Sale were on everyones wish list. Vet checked favorable to AI date bred: April 18, 2021.
A moderate made easy fleshing daughter of McCumber Tribute 702. There was never a lot of Tribute semen that came to Canada but we were fortunate to purchase some and we along with the other breeders who used him have been very impressed. In our spring bull sale the Tribute sons were very popular consistent small birth numbers, who exceled in a very masculine look with very good scrotal development. We look forward to calving out a group of Tribute daughters they should made very nice cows with the pedigree they carry. Princess 22’20 carries the early A.I. service to a very popular bull who sold in our spring bull sale selling for $20,000 to Scott Stock Farms of Crossfield Alberta. This female and the calf she carries is stacked with high maternal bulls you must check that out! This females grand dam raised a herd bull that presently is working in the Kembar herd.Bred A.I. black angus bred heiferIf you are looking to add performance to your herd, look no further. Tilda 6H is the perfect balance of power and pretty. I would also like to note that her dam weaned off our heaviest bull calf this year. Pasture exposed to HMM GUS 2G from May 10-29. Then also exposed to TMF FIVE IRON 21F from May 29-July 30. Vet said she was 3-4 months bred on Sept. 17. Will pay for DNA test.
Well, it’s been quite a year, drought, covid, Blue Jays lost, Trudeau won. Well screw it, just come buy this good heifer and watch your troubles melt away. The Grace cow family has been a trouble free, low maintenance bunch since we started this herd 27 years ago. Exposed April 10 to May 19 to HLC GRIT 705H. Vet called her 5 months on Sept. 17.

Red Fraser Ruby 185J is destined to be a great one. Her dam, Red Mcrae Ruby 8B was purchased out of their production sale as a bred heifer a few years ago. Her first daughter was selected for the Touch of Class sale and sold for a nice dollar. Our Resource 23F bull is proving himself to be a very solid herd sire when you tour through this years calf crop. He is tremendously easy keeping and walks on a fabulous set of feet. He has been admired my many astute cattlemen. If you are looking for a fancy heifer calf with a proven cow family that will go out and get it done…. Here is your girl!
These Respect daughters are sweet fronted! Tubee 57W had a stellar Final Answer daughter that has a top bull calf. She had Keegan’s awesome 4H steer last year. Great junior prospect here.

This heifer has been a standout in the 2020 heifer pen. She comes from BFL Yoney 140Y cow mixed with the Double Bullseye 1B Bull. Her dam has been one of our top bull calf producers. This thick framed calf with the potential of her tight uttered dam will not disappoint. She has the condition and maternal potential we look for. We are very excited to see this Power Eye granddaughter go to work for your herd. You will not want to miss out on your chance to own this heifer!
We had the opportunity to get our hands on Rosie’s dam a couple years back for Fraser Farms and we could not be happier with this cow! This Western Hauler daughter does not disappoint. We have no doubt this heifer will follow in her dam’s footsteps of her beautiful udder and maternal potential. From her calm disposition to her stylish frame mixed with the breeding of the WesternHauler bull, we have no doubt in the potential she will have as a cow in your program. You will not want to miss out her genetic potential. Rosie 14J goes back to Six Mile Lana, Sakic and the Great Legacy Bull on the sire side.

A daughter of the stout made DTA Famous Player 4F. Dam is a super dark female out of a great female line. In fact, 72Y the great grand dam was selected by Brylor Ranch at our female reduction sale in 2018. Super uddered, awesome females in this family!
Daughter of Six Mile element 10E (a son of the great Alana 13X cow). This Baroness cow family from Kenray is moderate in structure but big on production. Check out the udder development on this calf!

This is a calf we struggle to part with. Sweet in disposition, hair growth, footing and structure this heifer carries herself with power. We selected the dam from the Airy dispersal sale in 2019 and have so far received two great heifer calves. In a year like this where cows were made to utilize grass a little more than normal this pair rose to the occasion. Easy keeping and easy fleshing is just how we want them and this heifer proved she has that on pasture. Make sure to check out this dark red, table top heifer.
Here's a big bodied bred that has a lot to offer as a productive herd female. The DKF Titanium heifers that have come out of the Kenray program as of late are a testimony to what this sire can do - adding power and production into well-balanced females. She is bred to our newest herd-sire, Red Moose Creek Mayfield, a Flying K Neptune son that has calving ease written all over him. We are excited to see what this heifer can produce and even more excited to see her go to work in someone's program. Pasture exposed to RED MOOSE CREEK MAYFIELD 31H from 26th of April until July 15th. Preg check looks like Mid February calving.

Red Fraser Maria 74H is sired by the very popular Cockburn Assassin. He stirred up the breed a few years ago when he traded for a high dollar and semen packages were sold all over the country within hours. We were fortunate to be able to use him as a walking bull in 2019 after the loss of our Poker Face herd sire. Red Emmatt Creek Maria 22X was in fact a purchase out of this sale as a bred heifer 10 years ago and she is still hitting it out of the park on a regular basis. She has raised high selling herd bulls for Batho Farms and JAS Red Angus through the Southwest Bull Development Sale. Her daughters have sold to Six Mile Red Angus and EKW Red Angus through Red Roundup. If you are looking for a female with a proven and predictable pedigree then here she is. Now I will mention the service sire, He was a very popular purchase through the Kenray Bull Sale this past spring, Sired by Range Boss from Merit and out of the famed Red Cinder Freyja 29E cow that are both bringing home ribbons through progeny and themselves. This could be a very cool combination! Exposed to Kenray Merit Red Boss 31HUltrasound August 25th to be 140 days pregnant. Due Mid-January
This bred is a tank! Moderate framed, deep and angular. Bred to new herd sire Triple H Fortitude 51H for start of February calf.

Wow! Another Miss Annie on the block. The grandmother is the mother to the excellent bred heifer we had out at the 2020 red round up sale. That sold to the great folks at Matejka Farms. This heifer is carrying a bullcalf according to the ultrasound. The sire of both of these bred heifers is Red Six Mile Barry 476F, which was third high seller at Six Mile Bull Sale in 2019. Pasture exposed to T&S loaded 78H from March 28 to July 6, 2021. Ultrasounds very early in the exposure.
When I purchased Freyja‘s mother out of the famous red Angus event that takes place in Olds Alberta, Clark Wards words were, “ what a great family to get started in!” The grandmother is a great producing cow in the Ward’s Red Angus heard. The dam is a daughter of the 77,500 red Cockburn assassin 624D bull. Pasture exposed to T&S loaded 78H from March 28 to July 6, 2021 ultrasounds very early in the exposure dates.

A proven cow mated to an exciting new outcross bull! Red Fraser Miss 601D raised a 14000 bred heifer at Touch of Class and then we turned around and sold her 2019 bull calf for 18000 through our bull sale. Her 2020 eliminator heifer calf sold through Red Roundup to Ravenbrook and her 2021 bull calf by Resource 23F is possibly her best work yet! Watch for him next spring! The sire of these embryos has a very unique pedigree. He is the only red carrier son of the maternal powerhouse Bar S Range Boss 4002 for one, and so far there isn’t many sons of the highly decorated Red Cinder Freyja 29E been offered. His progeny have been high sellers as well as stood at the top of many of the nations shows. She, herself has stood in the winners circle many times and her progeny have commanded a high dollar as well. You will be like a child waiting for Santa when these calves arrive!
One of the most visually stunning females to walk the prairies. 6D is a neck snapper for everyone that tours the herd at CAMO and the bull calf she is carrying is top of the pen and sells in the Buy the Beef Bull Sale in April. The length and depth of body in this cow is unbelievable, she will have 90lb claves designed the right way to calve with ease. We look forward to working with the future owners of this flush. Selling one future flush on WRAZ 6D, Guaranteed 6 viable, freezeable, exportable embryos. Buyer and seller with split after 8. This flush comes with the access to all CAMO Semen. Flush is at the expense of the buyer.
