“super” clean
Project by:
Ainol mardia m. samula
Project Title:
“SUPER” Clean
ProblemStatement:
Barangay Mother Poblacion is located right at the heart of Cotabato City. It is where the supermarket is located which is the center of buying and selling of agricultural merchandise and other goods from the different neighbouring municipalities and provinces in the city. The place is stereotypically dirty. You can see garbage not properly disposed and scattering around. You can even see litters damp at the drainage canal. Unfortunately, these drainage canals are directly connected to the Matampay River which is located near the barangay specifically at the back of its barangay hall. The people do not seem to care about their surroundings. They are either busy with their own businesses or it’s just that they simply don’t care.
INTRODUCTION
CommunityNeeds:
Awareness about proper waste management and segregation
Objectives: • To develop a clean place for marketing in the supermarket.• To set the mind of the people that public sanitation is important. • To inculcate the people the importance of environmental care.• To add income generating livelihood for the residents through the use of garbage.
Solution Statement:
Educating people about how caring with their environment can do them good.
Outputs: 25 volunteers to start the clean up drive, 4 hours per day every weekends of a month.
Outcomes: Heightened awareness of the people how important environmental care is.

Specifically about?
Social Media as Tools for advocacy
How applied in your project?
I will use facebook as a tool to publicize the project so that not only the residents of my chosen community would know about it. Since Barangay Mother Poblacion is a public place, I believe that every Cotabatenos should be aware about it.
How innovative is your project?
It does not only help the environment but it can also generate the income of the producer with just the use of garbage.
