Salvatore P. Talamo Jr., A.I.A., NCARB
Hard work and dedication at my current job has led me to evolve from a college intern, to a Project Architect. My current roll has allowed me to gain a variety of experience, from the beginning stages of conceptual design, to the final stages of construction administration. As an intern I gained a wealth of expo-sure in developing construction details. My capacity to implement design development drawings into well com-posed construction documents showed that I had the skill to thoroughly carry out a design’s intent. This ability soon led me to a design position, where I then developed the necessary techniques required to graphically depict various designs concepts; these techniques included hand sketching, rendering, perspective drawing and computer modeling. Currently, I now manage jobs from beginning to end; my task is to not only develop jobs in a strategic organized fashion, but to also regularly inform the client about the project’s progression, as well as to coordinate the various consultants involved; all in a timely manner.
I am a licensed Architect with over 10 years of professional experience. As my architectural career evolves I am looking to join a firm, where the collaboration of various professionals is essential to the development of a project’s design. Given my ability to conceptualize - various design solutions, develop - ideas into functional solutions, and coordinate - the various building systems throughout a projects development. I believe I can provide a project team with exemplary design skills & comprehensive design development ability. These abilities are achieved with a complete understanding of the client’s desired goals, thus generating the design intent, which is the driving force behind knowing how to make the right decisions as the project progresses.
