SC CONNECTOR
SC connector is a push pull type, gives an audible click when
mates into its adaptor and can be tuned in 4 positions to provide
the lowest insertion loss. It comprises of a body with ceramic
ferrule/spring/crimp barrel assembly plus a crimp over sleeve
and rubber boot. These connectors are suitable for, 900μm and
2-3mm cables. The connector is precision made to demanding
specifications. The combination of a ceramic ferrule with
precision polymer housing pro-vides consistent long-term
mechanical and optical performance.

fitting into the adaptor to provide a secure connection and is
suitable for 900μm, 2-3mm cable. The connector is precision

combination of a Ceramic ferrule with precision Nickel plated
Brass housing provides consistent long-term mechanical and
optical performance. The FC connector is available in single
mode UPC and APC versions as well as multimode.

LC CONNECTOR
LC connector was the first small form factor connector on the
market. The use of a high performance 1.25mm ferrule gives the
connector extremely high performance characteristics.
LC connector is comprised of a Polymer body and a Ceramic
ferrule/spring/crimp barrel assembly plus a crimp over sleeve
and rubber boot. This connector is suitable for 900μm, 2 and
3mm cable. The connector is precision made and manufactured
to demanding specifications. The combination of a Ceramic
ferrule with polymer housing provides consistent long-term
mechanical and optical performance.
The LC has been designed to meet the need for a small optical
fiber connector that uses half the space of the SC connector. It
features a latched lever mechanism to provide secure ma-ting
into the adaptor. The duplex version which is two simplex
connectors with a clip, plugs into an adaptor with the same
footprint as the SC connector.

MTRJ CONNECTOR
MTRJ connector is capable of terminating any 125μm fiber,
designed to terminate two fibers within a single connector,
reduces the risk of operator error when inter-connecting
equipment and distribution panels. The MT ferrule in its various
designs has the ability to connect anything from 2 fibers in the
MTRJ to 72 fibers in the latest versions of the MPO connector.
The flexibility of the connector allows it to be used in short run
local area networks as well as longer haul cabling using single
mode fiber. The high density MT-RJ connector allows the
termination of high fiber count backbone cables to be terminated
in smaller distribution panels.

Fiber Adaptor Specification
Fiber adaptors are available for all standard connector types in both single mode and multimode including Simplex
and duplex versions. Single mode adaptors are available with either Zirconia or phosphor bronze sleeves. Zirconia
sleeves provide tighter tolerances, generally required for angled physical contact (APC) connectors. Multimode
adaptors are available with phosphor Bronze sleeves, which provide good performance for spherical polished
connectors. The adaptor sleeve aligns the ferrules and holds them in place. The adaptors are color coded allowing
easy identification of the adaptor type.
Hybrid fiber optic adaptors are also available which are used to link different kinds of fiber optic connectors. Hybrid
Adaptor specifications and functions are same as standard fiber optic adaptors.

Fiber Optic Attenuator Specification Fiber Optic Attenuator is a passive device used to reduce the amplitude of a light signal without significantly
changing the wave form itself. This is often a requirement in Dense Wave Division Multiplexing(DWDM) and Erbium
Doped Fiber Amplifier(EDFA) applications where the receiver cannot accept the signal generated from a high-power
light source.
Attenuator feature a proprietary type of metal-ion doped fiber which reduces the light signal as it passes through.
This method of attenuation allows for higher performance than fiber splices or fiber offsets or fiber clearance, which
function by misdirecting rather than absorbing the light signal. HNK attenuator are capable of performing in the
1310nm and 1550nm.
HNK attenuator are capable of withstanding over 1W of high power light exposure for extended periods of time,
making them well-suited to EDFA and other high-power applications. Low Polarization Dependent Loss(PDL) and a
stable and independent wavelength distribution makes them ideal for DWDM.

SC Fiber Optic Attenuator
Female to male SC fiber optic attenuator and bulkhead
SC fiber optic attenuator are available. They fit typical
1310nm and 1550nm single mode fiber applications.
Attenuation range is from 1dB to 20dB. We supply both
SC UPC fiber optic attenuator and SC APC fiber optic
attenuator. The SC fiber attenuators are with SC
connector interface. They are with premium ceramic
sleeves. Plug type SC fiber attenuator is a female to
male type, while bulkhead SC fiber attenuator is a
female to female type. The SC fiber optic attenuators
operation wavelength range is 1240nm to 1620nm.
FC Fiber Optic Attenuator
FC APC single mode fiber optic attenuator and FC UPC
single mode fiber optic attenuator are available, both of
them are with ceramic sleeves and accurate FC
connection interface. The attenuation range is from
1dB to 30dB available. The FC fiber attenuator features
high power endurance and low back reflection. They
are used to reduce the optical power in the fiber optic

Fiber Attenuator
LC fiber optic Attenuator
Single mode LC fiber optic attenuators including the
bulkhead LC attenuator and female to male LC fiber
attenuator are available. They are with high quality
ceramic sleeves and UPC polishes. Attenuation range
available is from 1dB to 30dB. Working range of the LC
fiber attenuator is 1240nm to 1620nm, including the
typical 1310nm and 1550nm single mode applications.
ST fiber optic Attenuator
The ST fiber optic attenuators are metallic body and
ceramic sleeves. ST Female to Female Bulkhead
Adapter Attenuators utilize a wavelength sensitive
neutral density filter to achieve attenuation. Bulkhead
type attenuators can be inserted easily between
jumpers or permanently mounted in a fiber distribution
cabinet. They can be used for either MM or SM. The
attenuators use a filter to induce attenuation and are
wavelength dependent.
MU Fiber Optic Attenuator
Both UPC MU fiber optic attenuator and APC MU fiber
optic attenuators for single mode applications are
available. Their attenuation level ranges from 1dB to
30dB. This MU fiber attenuator can work at 1240nm to
1620nm range, including the typical SMF 1310nm and

Fiber Patch Cord Specification They comprise two tight buffer fibers housed within a common outer
jacket in OM1, OM2, OM3, OM4, G652D ,G657A multi-mode and
single mode variants. Both ends are terminated with a high
performance hybrid or single type connector comprising of a SC, ST,

Armoured patch Cord provides flexible interconnection to active
equipment, passive optical devices and cross connects. These
patch cords are manufactured so as to withstand side pressure
and repeated bending and are used in outdoor applications in
customer premises, central offices and in harsh environments.
Armoured patch cords are constructed with a stainless steel tube
over a standard patch Cord surrounded by a stainless steel mesh
with and outer jacket. The flexible metal tube limits the bending

HNK Fiber Optic Loopback patch cord Fiber Loopbacks is designed to provide a media of return patch for a fiber
optic signal; typically it is used for fiber optic testing applications or network
restorations. For the testing applications, the loopback signal is used for
diagnosing a problem. Sending a loopback test to network equipment, one at
a time, is a technique for isolating a problem.
Similar as fiber optic patch cords, fiber loopback can be with various jacket
types and cable diameters, and they can be with different terminations and
length. HNK makes the fiber optic loopbacks strictly according to industry
standard, each of the cable is functionally tested before shipping, and we
offer custom assemblies for fiber optic loopbacks such as custom connector

Our fiber optic loopback products are two styles, one is the common type
which is with visible cable parts on the body, and the other is a loopback
module. The loopback plug is more compact and it has most of its parts

Ribbon fan-out pigtails Ribbon fan-out pigtails are made of ribbon fiber optic cables. It is
generally installed in closet area or horizontal patch extension from
consolidation point to the workstation outlets. Ribbonized fibers are
primary coated fibers placed next to each other in one plane. An
acrylate coating or polyester tape keeps the fibers together. The fiber
is flat type. Most common are 4-, 8- and 12-fiber ribbon cable. Ribbon
pigtails use a special device to protect the separated optic fibers(for
example 12 cores),through connectors to accomplish links with other
cables.
Ribbon fan-out pigtails generally have two types:jacket ribbon fan-out
pigtails and bare ribbon fan-out pigtails. Jacket ribbon fan-out pigtails
have outer jacket on fiber ribbon. Bare ribbon fan-out pigtails have no
outer jacket and generally protected by transparent tube.

Bundle fan-out pigtail (distribution fiber optic cable) Bundle fan-out pigtails are made of multi core round bundle fiber optic
cable, which is also called distribution fiber optic cable. It is generally
installed in closet area like rack mount or wall mount splice boxes or
patch panels.
Bundle fan-out pigtail is an amount (2 -12 fibers) of 900 μm pigtails
bundled in an outer jacket with kevlar and can be pre-connectorized or
non pre-connectorized. Bundle fan-out Pigtail has the great advantage
of giving less congestion than 12 individual pigtails with outer jacket and
kevlar. Interfacility cable is routed on the splice unit, whether it is
pre-connectorized or not. In case one connector fails or a fiber breaks,
the complete Bundle Pigtail should not be replaced since the splice
holder can be used to splice a new pigtail to the broken fiber.
Fiber optic distribution patch cord contains individual 900 μm fibers with

decomposed into multi-channel optical signal output. There are
two types optical splitters. One is fused biconic taper splitter
(FBT Splitter) made by the traditional optical passive device
manufacturers using the traditional biconic taper coupler
technology. The other one is planar optical waveguide splitter
(PLC Splitter) based on optical integration technology. Both
devices have their own advantages. Depending on the

Introduction
Planar Light wave Circuits (PLC) splitters are manufactured using silica glass waveguide circuits and extremely
precise alignment of optic fibers in very small package. They split or combine light from one or two incoming fibers to
multiple numbers of outgoing fibers.
They perform uniformly over a wide spectral range, with ultra-low losses. splitters are highly compact, reliable and
available in very wide range of fiber and connector types. All PLC splitters are fully compliant with the Telcordia
GR-1209 & GR-1221 standard.
Splitters contain no electronics and use no power. They are the network elements that put the passive in Passive

FBT Splitter At its most basic, the FBT splitter, short for fused biconic taper splitter, is a passive device that divides an input
optical signal into unequal portions, and then send out the divided signals to separate users. FBT technology has
become mature after developing for about 20 years. Cost effective and high quality splitter devices that enable high
performance solutions for Point to Multipoint networks. The FBT splitter is now much cheaper to manufacture, and
has been widely used in FTTx systems, MANs, WANs, CATV, and active devices.
Our FBT devices are highly stable for multiport optical signal splitting with low insertion loss. All devices are tested
according to industry standard test procedures. It is available in 1×2, 1×3, 1×4, and 2×2 types. This fiber optic splitter
