The Trolley

To perform shelving duty, you must use trolley to transport books. It can be hazardous if you don’t handle the trolley properly.

TEXTBefore moving the trolley, you must pre-check the physical condition of the trolleys to make sure there are no hazards that can lead to injury.

For the tall trolley, always push one side as the photo shows. Push using the handle of the trolley.

When moving the trolley, you must pay attention to the way you push the trolley.

The proper way to move a trolley is to push and not to pull.

The Stool

Please use a stepping stool when retrieving books on shelves beyond the reach of your hand.

Place both feet at the centre of the stool so as to spread your weigh evenly over the surface of the stool for stability.
