The top can also be 10\vered and rai sed

the

and

when
lowering the top. Do not lower
the top vvith passengers in the rear seat
area or people s tanding close to the ca r.
Remove all objects
from
the s

tween the
back
seat and the window.
To avoid damage to the backlight and
the top components, this s
pac
e
mu
st
not be used as a storage space.
Note that the back backlight must
be
eit
her
raised
and
sec
ured with
th
e
zip-
per or completely lowered in to the
space behind the back sea t. Under no
c
ircum
stances
may
the backlight be
hor izontal against the edge at the back-
rest of the back sea t.

Two 3-point
manual
belts are provided in
front and two
retract
or-type lap belts arc
provided
in
the r

The
rear seat belts
are self adjus ting
as
to
length
and should be
positioned
low
over the
hip
s
and fit
snugl.v.
These
belts
will hold
an
approved
child scat
without
any
special hardware.
Caution
The 900 Convertible is a
four
passenger
vehicle. Do not overlowd the car. All oc
cupants should wear sewt belts at all
tin les when the vehicle is be

The electrical adj ustn lc

If subj ected to excessive force,
the

will fold
back
.
The mirrors
can also be
parked in
the f()lded
back

door
is closed
and
the courtesy light
goes out to signal the start of the
arming
cycle.

mild
soap

lukewarm
water and
a sponge. Rinse the
top
with enough
clean
water
to remove all
traces
of
soap. You
must be
careful to rinse
any
cleaner

the body
paint
as it
may
cause streaks if allO\·ved to dn on
the
paint
ed surfaces. -
If further cleaning is required after using
soap and water,
a
mild
foaming cleaner
can
be used. First, rinse the top . Then use a 1nild
foan'l ing cleaner on the entire top. Scrub
with
a
small, so f

sh. Add
water as
needed until the
clean
er gets
soapy. Use a cloth
or
sponge to remove dirt
so it
won t be ground
into
the
top. Be careful
