residents in Community Practice
– 1997• One elective dental course taught by Dr. Deb Zoran
– 1998• Two elective dental courses taught by Dr. Deb Zoran
– 1999• Two elective dental courses taught by Dr. Deb Zoran• Six hours of dental lecture in VSAM 954 by Dr. Deb Zoran• Expanded dental cases in Community Practice to include
routine teeth cleaning of research animals

Small Animal Dentistry
– 2002• Root canal on the Baylor Bear by Dr. Dodd• I began doing cases for Community Practice on
Fridays bringing my own instruments
– 2003 to 2005• Obtained donations or made personal donations
for approximately $30,000 for basic needed equipment for performing dental cases and teaching dental elective
– September 2005• Started working Thursday and Friday• Sharing students with Derm elective

Small Animal Dentistry
