INTRODUCTION• Level of knowledge and understanding about Rukun Negara.
• For person to naturally internalize the spirit of any ideology.
• Contain elements of good behavior which are beneficial for individuals and group towards a nation’s well-being.
• As national ideology to principles of living policies to be used as guide and action
• Rukun Negara is an arrangement of ways for group living and contain value of nationhood to cover in all aspects of life.
• Clashes started after some misunderstanding in Kampung Baru, Kuala Lumpur.
• The over enthusiastic of opposition camp in general election cause the angered some supporter from another party.
• Racial clashes happened in these two opposing parties which are most predominantly by malay and chinese.
• The government quickly imposed curfews and declared the 1948 Emergency Ordinance.(parliament suspended)

Duties and Obligations as a citizen of Malaysia(some examples) :
The position of Rulers.The positions of Bumiputeras and Non-Bumiputeras in the socio-economic development of the country.The Malay language as the National Language, with recognition of other languages.Islam as the official religion, while freedom of religion is guaranteed.The basic rights of citizens are guaranteed.Provisions for citizenship.Arrangements and procedure on administration including division of authority between the Federal and the State governments.

THE RULE OF LAWFundamental liberties are guaranteed to all citizens.These include liberty of the person, equal protection of the law, freedom of religion, rights of property and protection against banishment.
Law are mechanism to guarantee social order and to control the behaviours of the members of society. without laws, society will become wild and lawless.
The implementation of the laws involves three parties:
1.Law enforcement personnel such as the police.2.The court authorities who examine case evidences, weigh the evidences and make judgement.3.The general public who, as members of the society, shoulder the responsibility of respecting the laws and also help to enforce the laws.
The Rule of Law is ensured by the existence of an independent judiciary with powers to pronounce on the constitutionality and legality or otherwise of executive acts.
5. DECORUM AND MORALITY(KESOPANAN DAN KESUSILAAN)
Decorum: Etiquette and morality.
Good character being always aware of right and wrong
REASONS WHY IT WAS DEVELOP?
• Develop good etiquette and virtuous character among Malaysian citizens.
