Resin Flooring Applications
Heavy Duty Screeds and Coving for Industrial Areas
Decorative Systems and Polishing for Commercial Areas
Warehouses and Storage Units
Domestic Installations
Coatings
We are experienced in the application of epoxy and PU coatings and line marking in the
pharmaceutical, food processing, car park and warehousing sectors accross the UK. Resin coatings
provide a decorative protective layer for the work place. The rapid installation process means
minimal down time is required.
Examples of our work
Polished concrete
The process of polishing concrete involves using very coarse diamonds on a 4 head grinding machine to expose the aggregate followed by progressively finer diamonds up to around 3000 grit depending on the required sheen or polish. Utilising new or old concrete can transform the floor from a dull matt finish to a bright polished terrazzo finish. A stain resistant penetrative seal coat can be added to ensure the concrete is protected from staining. This floor is used in retail outlets, warehouses and dry production areas.
Examples of our work
Terrazzo flooring This epoxy or PU decorative flooring is applied in supermarkets, shopping malls, hotels, pharmaceutical and chemical plants. It is laid with a trowel typically at 10mm or 8mm and is ground and polished down to 8mm or 6mm exposing the decorative aggregate including mother of Pearl, coloured glass, flint and marble. This system offers high performance and functionality similar to that of Polyurethane screeds but offers a more aesthetically pleasing appearance. Most suppliers stock an infinite range of colours and aggregates to blend with the surrounding decor. Terrazzo can be re-polished and re-sealed repeatedly if the floor is damaged. If adequately maintained, terrazzo should last many years.
We have applied this type of flooring in companies all over the UK and Ireland and in the Far East in Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia

Terrazzo Company Logos
Consider your main reception area with your company name and logo perminantly featured in the floor. Seamless terrazzo logos can be incorporated as part of a new terrazzo flooring project or as part of a new or existing tiled floor This is achieved using brass, stainless steel or aluminium strips to separate the letters in your company name or the design of your logo. The desired terrazzo colours are added and after curing, the terrazzo is polished to reveal your logo. Below is an example of a floor we completed at Thomson Plaza Singapore. We completed three Plaza logos at the base of each escalator and we applied the terrazzo alongside the existing Italian marble tiles.
Polyurethane screeds This type of resin screed is laid typically at 6mm-9mm. This very durable floor offers high resistance to chemical attack, can be steam cleaned and is used in the chemical, food and pharmaceutical industries.
Examples of our work
Quartz screeds and stone carpets These decorative epoxy screed systems are usually applied at 2mm – 5mm, have a speckled appearance and are sealed with a matt or gloss seal coat. Typical applications would be shopping centres, retail units, domestic areas, lobby/reception areas, car showrooms and bathrooms.

Resin coving and profile work
This screed is used to provide a protective coved finish to edges and applied as a vertical screed to walls in pharmaceutical clean rooms, wet process areas, tanks and bund areas. The screed can also be painted to match the floor or decor.
Examples of our work
Self Smoothing Resin Flooring
Self smoothing or self levelling epoxy floors offer a seamless, smooth contemporary finish. The floor
is typically laid between 2mm and 5mm depending on requirements and you can choose a matt or a
gloss finish. Our material suppliers offer a wide range of standard colours but at a small cost will
match your specified colour. We also apply anti static self levelling screeds
