DG Grant Daly (seen left with President Annemarie) visited the club on 17 September 2016 at the YFM Offices in Hyde Park. President Annemarie presented the report to DGR Chris Thompson and AG Paul Westcott and the club’s executive board. DG Grant seemed very impressed by the number of projects that our club manages and our finances were in order and audited. After the formalities were over, new members were inducted and excellent fellowship was enjoyed.

Ford Credit Community Service The Ford Credit Community Service Committee was very grateful for the assistance from Judith Chinkumbi. She arranged for books to be donated
to the home they have chosen to support this year - the Thembelisha Children’s home in Mamelodi East.
The books were handed out on 28th September.
A great day of hard work, fun and fellowship.

A Night at the Races
The RC of Northcliff and our club had a joint fund-raising event on 30 September at Marks’ Park and it was great fun! Betting on the horses and jockeys; eating good food in a beautifully decorated venue and just having superb fellowship was what the soul needed to start the weekend. There were prizes galore too. Well done to Andre and his team for puting this outstanding event together. R 88000 was raised in total and this is shared with the RC of Northcliff. The club’s funds are raised for our Youth Programme.
See you all there next year!
