ROTARY 7250JULY / AUGUST 2012 ISSUE 1
Dear ladies and gentlemen, fellow Rotarians, and distinguished guests it is a great honor
and pleasure for me to welcome you to the installation of District 7250 Governor, ADG’S,
club presidents, and officers.
First and foremost, I want to express my special thanks and appreciation to PRID
Michael Pinson for traveling all the way from Texas, to be here to do the honors for
my installation.
My Heartfelt thanks to my trainer PDG Sammy Hsiao, to PDG Ravi Bhooplapur, PDG Eileen Gentilcore PDG Tony Mesi-
neo, and MC ADG John Ryan. Special thanks to Rony Kessler, Dr Howard Robins, and all the members of my club for
their support and participation and for putting this event together.
Thanks to all PDG’s in attendance. Particular thanks to PDG Pete Roukis, who traveled from New Jersey. (It was him
whom originally welcomed and installed me as a Rotarian in the Westbury-Carle Place Rotary Club).... he wanted to
see how his Rotarian “baby” had progressed to be now a District Governor. My very special thanks to my family; My
daughters, Alie, and Elizabeth, my grand kids, Wendy, Victoria:(Tori), Mario, Justin: (A J), and Paulo, they also traveled
from Virginia beach to be a part of Grandpa aka/Pop Pop’s celebration. Sincere thanks and appreciation to all of the
District 7250 ADG’s and all the members of the District that could not make it tonight; I appreciate your support and
good wishes, and I love you all just the same.

Editor’s View
Greetings to all readers,
I wanted to take this opportunity to thank DG Mario Moran for entrusting me with the re-
sponsibility of publishing the District’s newsletter. This is an exciting time in the Rotary Year.
On June 28, 2012, the Rotary year began with the handing over of the leadership gavel
from PDG Gabor Karasai to DG Mario. I would like to offer my congratulations to DG
Mario and his team and wish them all the best of luck during the year.
Also, I would like to thank the West Hempstead Rotary club, under the leadership of Ron-
nie Kessler, for arranging a wonderful Installation. The colorful and festive was attended
by over 200 people and full of fellowship and fun. Past Rotary International Director Mike Pinson acted as Installation
Officer for DG Mario and spoke with great eloquence about Rotary and fellowship. PRID Pinson also installed the Club
Presidents and officers of the District. In keeping with Rotary International President Tanaka’s theme, “Peace through Ser-
vice”, DG Mario Moran passionately beseeched all in attendance to aid him in making this a successful Rotary year within
District 7250. I have great confidence that Governor Mario and the current district administrators will not only increase our
membership but also make substantial contributions to the “Final Push to End Polio” and 7250’s Reach Out Africa initiatives.
There are many challenges ahead of us in the coming year; however, there are also many opportunities. As you all well
know, this year will be the last year of District 7250. We are to merge with District 7260, Suffolk County. We have the
opportunity to make bigger, bolder, better clubs and activities.
I will most certainly keep you informed of any upcoming events. If you wish to publish in this newsletter please send your idea
to me. Please visit our district website as well. If you wish to to publish on the website, kindly send your idea to Prakash.
Thank You.
