Partnership between the SEED Initiative and Environmental Services, both housed within Facilities & Construction, as well as the Lucas County Solid Waste Management District

Provide opportunities to recycle plastic, paper, metal, electronics, etc.

Strive to be a leader among universities by providing quality and convenient recycling and waste management services, as well as revenue to the University, while accelerating the advancement of waste minimization, landfill diversion, and education on recycling

Metal items that are too old or too damaged to be sent to Surplus can be recycled. To schedule a pickup for an item to

be recycled, contact Brooke Mason at 419-530-1042 or email SEED@utoledu.edu.

• Computers• Laptops• Monitors• Printers• Modems• Hard Drives• Cables & Cords • Speakers & Radios• Keyboards & Mice• Cell Phones & Telephones• Electronic Games• VCRs and DVD Players• Power Tools• Hospital electronics• Batteries (rechargeable)

To recycle office electronics (computers, laptops, monitors, modems, etc.) submit

an IT work order.

To recycle all other electronics, contact Brooke Mason at 419-530-1042, email SEED@utoledo.edu, or submit a work

order to schedule a pickup.

Books & Misc. Recycling

BOOKSBound books should not be

recycled in the “mixed office paper” container. To schedule a bin drop off/ bin pickup, contact Brooke Mason at 419-530-1042,

email SEED@utoledo.edu, or submit a work order.

MISC. ITEMSIf you have other items that do not fit any of these categories

but you would like to find out if it can be recycled, contact

SEED@utoledo.edu.

If your office or building needs more bins, please email Brooke Mason at brooke.mason@utoledo.edu with your request.
