TransportationAll students who live in the Lake Braddock boundary or are placed at Lake Braddock for the Advanced Academic Center Program will receive transportation to and from school (including the after school program).
Parents are notified by transportation in August regarding bus routes. This typically takes place about 2 weeks prior to the start of the school year.
FCPS is considering social distancing guidelines and how that would impact transportation as a part of their planning for a potential return to school in the fall.
Attendance/Tardies
At the start of the school year staff members are visible in the hallways to help guide students to their classrooms.
Students have 6 minutes between classes.
Most middle school core classes are in close proximity to each other.
Teachers will monitor students who are tardy to class starting the second week of school.
Next StepsWe will share additional information regarding summer programming as it becomes available.
Order your Health/PE Uniform.
Review the courses your student has selected for the upcoming school year through your SIS ParentVue Account and contact a counselor if you would like to request a change.
We will host a Fall Parent Coffee to answer any remaining questions you may still have about Lake Braddock!
