I am a highly motivated and prolific researcher in physical activity and chronic disease prevention. My technical background in Athletic Training and rehabilitation along with my expertise with personal technologies provides me with a unique and desirable perspective to disease prevention. My clinical education is complimented with my experience conducting research related to public health, epidemiology, and comparative effectiveness. I am well versed in the entire spectrum of research from observational and experimental study designs, incorporating stakeholder input, the translation of findings, and participant education. My well-rounded research experience equips me advise and educate individuals on physical activity for improved health and well-being. As well as, provokes me to further investigate the potential of physical activity promotion among special populations and within health care services.
