INTRODUCTION

• The Compact Cassette, often referred to as audio cassette, cassette tape, cassette, or simply tape, is a magnetic tape sound recording format

• Videotape is a means of recording television pictures and accompanying sound onto magnetic tape as opposed to movie film. Tape is a linear method of storing information, and since nearly all video recording.

HISTORY

• The first practical professional videotape machines were the Quad machines introduced by Ampex in the United States in 1956.

• 1969, Sony introduced the first widespread video cassette .

• In 1935, AEG, released the first reel-to-reel tape recorder with the commercial name "Magnetophon", based on the invention of the magnetic tape (1928) by Fritz Pfleumer

• In 1962 Philips invented the compact audio cassette medium for audio storage, introducing it in Europe in August 1963 (at the Berlin Radio Show)and in the United States (under the Norelco brand) in November 1964, with the trademark name Compact Cassette.

• Now the cassette is gradually disappearing with more usage of cds/dvds.

It is not longlasting,and easily unusable if exposed to sunlight, moist, extreme weather condition and magnetic field. Less storage capacity, need to rewind after every play,can not easily switch from one song to another song easily(like cds), Not rewriteable.

Many Music lovers like youth are always ready to accept best quality music irrespective of the kind of storage media/player

People already switched to cds /dvds. New kind of storage media technology like blue ray disc are entering the market while pen drive , memory cards etc. are already serving the purpose

than a CDS & DVDS do. The cassette tape is weather proof ,double coated and scratch proof which bears

sunlight/moisture/magnetic field and the cassette records music in a superior special quality

sound format. The cassette will be in a mini size 3”X3”.rewriteable,easily recordable. A port to connect to external sound speakers.

Cassette player consists 3 Unique features:

1. Brain wave technology : a technology in which sound waves stimulate your brain and change your mental state according to type of song.

2. 3D surround effect: the cassette is recorded in such a way when it plays, it gives an surrounding effect in headset

3. Karaoke option: capable of playing only instrumental music by cutting voice in songs
