Letter of Recommendation: NameXXX

Dear Sir or Madam:

This reference letter is provided at the written request of XXX. who has asked me toserve as a reference on his behalf.

I haveknownXXXforthe past one year as I am teaching himEdexcel A-levels chemistrysubject. As his lecturer. I have had an opportunity to observe the student's participationand interaction in class and to evaluate the student's knowledge of the subject matter. Thestudent is one of the top achievers in my class. He has a brilliant mind and on manyoccasions has proved that he goes the extra mile to gain knowledge.

Hisconsistent hardwork servedhimwell as he scoredA in hisfirst module exam and didfairlywell in his recent internal trial examination. The student has always been ableto thinkoutsidethe box and asked questions that have not occurred to any other students in theclass. As such, the other students benefit through the intellectual questions that heproposes in class. Often, the student asks concepts that are not found in the textbook, which proves that the student does extra reading even beyond what the subjectrequires from him.

On several occasions when the student could not deliver goodgrades in assessments heshowed signs of disappointment with himself. However, this is quickly followedby determination on correcting his mistakes and learning to improve himself to obtainbetter grades in the future.

The student has a very outgoing and cheerful personality. He is very polite and wellbehavedwhen communicatingwith the lecturers. He chooses hiswords carefully when itcomes to questioning subject matter. His peers are comfortablewith his presence as he isknowledgeable and a guy whom everyone can count on.

Based upon the student's academic performance and my close observation for over ayear. I believe the student would perform excellently in your institution.

Sincerely.
