chapel.Asthisyoungmanthoughtabouthisapprehension,hedecidedtoheaditoffbygoingtothemonitorofthemonastery
anddiscussingtheproblemwithhim.Inthecourseoftheconversationhesaid,“Sir,Iamwillingtodoanymenialjobthatyouassignme.Iwouldbedelightedtogooutintothefieldsandplow,fertilize,andirrigatethembyhandtoincreaseproductivity.Ifyouwouldcareformetodoso,Iwouldbehappytogetdown
onmyhandsandkneesandscrubthefloorshereinthemonastery.Itwouldbeaprivilegeformetopolishthe
